Help for Young Adults

We offer three groups for young adults, one for people 18-25 and two for those 26-40 who have experienced the death of a relative, partner, or friend. Based on a peer support model, the group is an opportunity to meet with other people who are dealing with the vast and at times overwhelming terrain of grief. We work to create an atmosphere that is safe, accepting, and free from unsolicited advice or platitudes. Participants are invited to share their personal experiences with grief, ask questions of the group, and provide support for the other participants. The groups are open to those who live in the greater Portland, OR area. If you live outside the greater Portland area, we can provide you with additional referrals.

The groups are ongoing, free of charge, and meet every other week for 1.5 hours in the evening.
