Virtual Professional Seminar
Support children, teens, young adults, and families who are grieving with confidence.
Dougy Center’s Virtual Professional Seminar equips you with the knowledge and skills to respond to grief across developmental stages; from young children to adults. You’ll learn the foundations of grief education, what it truly means to be grief-informed, and how to apply these concepts in real-world settings.
This live, online seminar in January is designed for professionals who want more than theory. With a small cohort, participants will engage in meaningful discussion, learn from peers, and walk away with tools that can use right away.
Learn how to:
- Identify the core principles and tenets of grief-informed practice
- Develop awareness of personal beliefs, biases, and attitudes about loss and grief
- Broaden your knowledge base about loss, grief, and developmental considerations of people who are grieving across the lifespan
- Support individuals who are grieving using grief-informed best practices and resources
- Practice and incorporate grief-informed language in personal and professional settings

At Dougy Center, we value relationships and connection. We intentionally aim to create spaces where people can be heard, valued, and connect with one another. Virtual Professional Seminar offers an opportunity to do just that with a smaller group of participants interested in learning together.
