Help for grieving kids at any ageHelping kids talk about death

Talking about death is not easy—but it’s important for grieving children to be able to ask questions and talk about the person who died.

Conversations about death with a four-year-old are very different from those with a teen. For insight on how children’s concepts of death develop, and age-appropriate responses to questions about death and grief, visit the Grief Resources section of The Dougy Center’s website.
