The Dougy Center provides many opportunities to partner with corporations and local business. We are always looking for volunteers, special items, and funds that businesses might be in a unique position to provide.
Businesses are welcome to participate in our child sponsorship program. It costs $1,500 to sponsor a child for one year at The Dougy Center. Please visit our Child Sponsorship Donation page to learn more about this unique opportunity.
The Dougy Center is a special place, and so are our donors. Are you a construction company who could remodel a playroom at the Center? One of the most well known events in Portland is the The Dougy Center Annual Gala and Auction, on May 8th, 2010 at The Governor Hotel. It is also the night that our annual Porsche Boxster raffle is held. Each year, more than 400 Dougy Center supporters turn out for a magical night filled with delicious food, live auction items, a silent auction of children’s art, and a chance to learn more about the mission of The Dougy Center. This event raises nearly 50 percent of all funds for our annual budget, so it is an extremely important means for supporting grieving children and their families.
