The Dougy Center Rebuilding Update

The Dougy Center has begun the rebuilding process after an arson fire destroyed our beloved home last year.

DeConstruction Services from Portland’s ReBuiding Center is tearing down the old building and will reuse or recycle as much material as possible.

100% of materials reclaimed will be made available to the public for reuse and will directly support affordable home repairs and much more. In addition, The ReBuilding Center will donate a portion of the reclaimed materials to support local community-based projects throughout the region.

All materials that cannot be reused (such as damaged wood, metal, and electrical wiring) will be hand source separated to be recycled locally. Only the minimum of materials that can not be reused or recycled will end up as debris.
