Regence and Pro Photo Supply Partner to Benefit The Dougy Center
“Hearts in Nature” online photo contest launched Valentine’s Day, with proceeds to benefit grieving children and families served by the nationally recognized nonprofit
The Dougy Center is pleased to announce the launch of the Hearts in Nature Photo Contest, sponsored by Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Pro Photo Supply. Proceeds from the campaign will support the mission and work of The Dougy Center, which provides support services for hundreds of grieving children and families in Oregon.
The Hearts in Nature Photo Contest kicks off on Friday, Feb. 14 and continues through March 14. The online contest is being conducted on the Facebook pages of Regence, Pro Photo Supply and The Dougy Center.

We are honored to be the beneficiary of this creative and heartfelt campaign and we are confident that residents of Oregon will show the generosity for which they are known by participating in Hearts in Nature,” said Donna Schuurman, Ed.D, FT, chief executive officer of The Dougy Center.
About the Hearts in Nature Photo Contest:
1. To enter the contest, individuals can visit one of three Facebook pages – Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, The Dougy Center or Pro Photo Supply—and post their best original photo of a heart in nature. Photos must feature heart shaped elements of nature.
2. After submitting photos, contestants are asked to spread the word by encouraging their friends and family to vote for their favorite photo, and share the campaign through their own Facebook and Twitter accounts. For each vote received, Regence will donate $5 to The Dougy Center. Voting closes at midnight on March 13.
3. Winners will be announced on all of the organizations’ Facebook pages on March 21. Pro Photo Supply will provide $150, $100, and $50 gift cards to the first, second and third place winners as well as a framed print copy of their winning entry.
