Through our National Center for Grieving Children and Families we provide support and training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.

For 25 years, The Dougy Center has supported grieving children worldwide. Without the generous support of donors like you we would not be here today. As you may know, the death of a parent or child often not only leaves a family emotionally overwhelmed but financially devastated as well. In recognition of this, The Dougy Center does not charge a fee for our services nor do we receive government funding or insurance reimbursements. We rely solely on individual donations, making your gift so important.

Your gift to The Dougy Center:

  • Creates a safe, caring place for children and their families to grieve
  • Helps us provide peer support groups to over 380 children and their 250 adult family members each month
  • Allows us to recruit, screen, and train caring volunteers and professionals
  • Purchases art and play supplies to assist children in their grief work
  • Advocates for better understanding of the needs of grieving children and families in our community and around the world

$1,500 sponsors a child for an entire year
$750 sponsors a child for six months
$375 sponsors a child for three months
