The Dougy Center offers a wide variety of workshops & training sessions on helping grieving children. Our program development trainings have directly helped start more than 160 centers nationally and internationally. Click here to find a program trained by The Dougy Center in your area. We also provide educational workshops for those working with grieving children in hospitals, schools, hospices, youth service organizations and mental health agencies across the nation.
Each summer, The Dougy Center offers the Summer Institute at our facility during the last week of July. The Summer Institute provides not only theory and skill development but also hands-on experience running peer-to-peer support groups for grieving children and teens. Follow the link for more information and to register for the 2014 International Summer Institute.
On-Site or Phone Consultations
Receive individualized attention and get your most pressing questions answered through a consultation with The Dougy Center staff on-site or via the phone. The cost for consultations is $150 an hour. We regret that observing our peer-to-peer support groups is not an option, though we have instructive videotapes available.
