Special Events Coordinator
Full-time position, excellent benefits, SE Portland location
Primary responsibilities focused on internal and external special event coordination including auction/gala, fall luncheon, raffles and external events benefiting The Dougy Center. Must have experience with generation of corporate support and external special event support. Position also provides high-level development support to the Chief Development & Communications Officer. Must have a minimum of 3+ years of related experience in a nonprofit organization, appropriate education/training related to successful execution of tasks, experience with event and donor databases, excellent oral, written and organizational skills, extremely detail-oriented while grasping the overall goals and “self-starting,” and intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
