Through our National Center for Grieving Children and Families we provide support and training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.
When weather or other emergency closures are required, The Dougy Center follows the same guidelines as local school districts.
For our Southeast Portland location, if Portland Public Schools are closed The Dougy Center will not have groups.
For our Canby location, if the Canby School District is not in session Walker’s House will not have groups.
For our groups in Washington County, if Hillsboro School District is not in session we will not have any groups in Washington County.
For all of these locations, if school is released early there will be no evening groups at The Dougy Center.
